Join artists Zina Saro-Wiwa and Michael Subotzky in conversation with Fowler Curator of African Arts Erica P. Jones as they discuss Inheritance: Recent Video Art from Africa. The exhibition, upcoming at the Fowler Museum at UCLA, features works by three contemporary African artists who grapple with the ramifications of colonial legacies in their respective countries: Kudzanai Chiurai (b. 1981, Zimbabwe), Zina Saro-Wiwa (b. 1976, Nigeria), and Mikhael Subotzky (b. 1981, South Africa).
