Art Los Angeles Contemporary welcomes a new section to the back tent

ALAC’s 2019 edition will present an inaugural "Salon" section, offering a new way for galleries and the public to participate in the fair through a curated exhibition. The exhibition, The Academy, will be curated by Berlin-based art historian, curator, and former gallerist of Gillmeier Rech, Claudia Rech. Inspired by the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, The Academy will connect European and emerging L.A. galleries, as well as artists working across mediums and across the globe.
